Google Eath is a program that displays the Three Dimensional maps of the World. It allows the user to tilt, pan and view the terrain anywhere in the world.
A few of the club members are compiling maps of Mountain Bike Tracks using GPS devices. This section holds those traces.
This is a very rudimentary attempt to map the MTB Tracks in the Port Hills of Christchurch. The track names need correcting and the majority of the tracks aren't captured from GPS, yet.
Tracks
Worselys, Old Dyers Pass, Bowenvale Downhil Area, Huntsbury Track, ?The Serpent?, The Crocodile,Kennedies Bush, Rapaki Track, Farm Track, Captain Thomas, Anaconda and the start of Godley Head.
Known Mistakes:
The Mount Vernon Track is wrongly labeled "Bownvale?"

This map also contains anonymous information on the locations of known injuries sustained by club members. ;-)
