Short Description

This is a gravel road ride - from Little River to Lands End Road.

Lands End Road runs along the ridge out along Timutime Head, which is the eastern entrance to Akaroa Harbour.

Description
Getting there

Ride from Little River travelling towards Christchurch.

Turn Left onto Kinloch Rd, follow this road until it branches left into Okuti Valley Road.

The next Right is Reynolds Valley Rd for a Hill climb to the Bossu Rd  (640m) intersection on the ridge line.

Turn Left/West onto Bossu road - Ride along Bossu road until you find the  intersection with Lands End Rd. This section of Bossu Road passes under or  over Peraki Saddle (590m), Carews Peak (794m) and round the top of Bossu (Peak?) 

Lands End road continues to run along the ridge line and drops down to Timutimu Head, about 2km as the crow flies, There is no access to very end of the Head.

While Bossu Rd turns sharply to the left and travels North down to the township of Wainui, which is 3.5km as the crow flies.

if you visit  Wainui, keep an eye out for Jubilee Road, on your left, as this road will take you back to Peraki Saddle to join back up with Bossu Rd for the ride back to Little River.
