BikeNZ and MTBNZ are pleased to announce the 2009 New Zealand Community Trust New Zealand MTB Cup comprising North Island and South Island Downhill and Cross Country Cups.

Following on from the success of the inaugural NZCT Island Cup Series in 2008, a similar structure has been adopted for the upcoming season with the pinnacle being the NZCT National Championships to be held in Nelson late February.

In addition to the 4 Island Cups being up for grabs, riders will also have the opportunity to take out the NZCT NZ Downhill Cup and the NZCT NZ Cross Country Cup. To be eligible, riders best four results including both Island cup finals will be collated.
