What is the Sandwich rating associated with some of the ride descriptions?

The sandwich rating determines how hard or long a ride is. The more sandwiches that a ride has, the harder/longer it is.

For example the Mt Sumner track is an easy Grade 2, but will have a higher sandwich rating that that of Bottle Lake, as it is a much longer course, over rougher terrain.

Any ride involving Bossu Rd (by Little river), will also have a high sandwhich rating, as the initial climb up to Bossu Rd can take up to an hour of grind.

1 Sandwich

Once round Bottle Lake or One Ascent of Rapaki Track.

2 Sandwiches

Two Ascents of Rapaki Track - but not back to back.

3 Sandwiches

Two Ascents of Rapaki Track  - back to back - and with other riding.

4 Sandwiches

Two Ascents of Rapaki Track - back to back - with a long ride before or after, which may also include a lot of climbing.

i.e Double Fence Line.

5 Sandwiches

Time to invest in a really BIG lunch box!

i.e A ride to a Lands End from Little River (and back).
