This was just another picture-perfect day for one of the Peninsula’s scenic rides.

One of the great things about this ride (as well as the coffee and cake at Little River) is that you can see the Gap, the rocky knob with the trig on top, from well down the track, and it does get slowly (painfully?) closer. Speaking of trigs – they’ve been made almost redundant by GoogleEarth and GPS – are still a handy target when you’re climbing, and to pose around at the top.

We left Little River on Reynolds Valley Road and returned via Robin Hood Bay Road. We liked the idea of going in the other direction the next time we ride here.
